Subsidio Fácil is a mobile application that acts as a virtual advisor to facilitate the application process for a housing subsidy in Chile.

BACKGROUND

Easy Subsidy is an application that was created as my final project in the user experience design and measurement diploma course held by the Catholic University of Chile.

We were asked to find a problem (it could be the smallest one) and design a digital product that would provide a solution.

In the process of searching for a problem, one of my team members was applying for a rental subsidy and mentioned how exhausting and overwhelming the process was due to the lack of information and the disorganization in the delivery of data. In general, the application system showed a flaw in its beginnings since it did not help the future applicant.

For this reason we decided to design an application that would act as a virtual advisor to facilitate the process of applying for a housing subsidy in Chile .

THE PROBLEM

Investigating and asking acquaintances who had gone through this process, the problem became evident: There is a difficulty in applying for subsidies due to the deficiency in the delivery of information. Although specific data is not provided on how many people fail in the process, in the comments left by people on different MINVU social networks, it is noted that the problem is repeated for many users.

WIREFRAMES

Flujo 1: Caso de éxito

First, the platform collects all the user's data, thus creating a virtual portfolio to see if all the requirements for an effective application are met.

This flow considers the case of successful use of the application, which means that the user meets all the requirements to apply for the subsidy they require and at the end is directed to the MINVU website to apply for the requested subsidy.

Flow 2: Incomplete requirements

This flow considers the case of incomplete requirements, which means that the user does not meet all the requirements necessary for the application to the MINVU to be effective.

The user is shown the result of which requirements they meet and which ones they are missing to apply.
In each box there is a brief description of the information in detail.
